Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2017 Presidents Cup! The PGA TOUR is thrilled to host The Presidents Cup at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, and looks forward to working with you. Thank you in advance for your support of the tournament. Please find important general information regarding the Volunteer Program below.
Volunteer Registration: Please complete and submit your application form as soon as possible. After your application has been submitted and received by the tournament office, you will receive an email confirmation of your application. You will receive another email with your committee assignment soon after.
Age Requirement: Youth volunteers must be between 13-18 years of age as of September 25, 2017. All other volunteers must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for a volunteer position at the tournament. Some positions require 25 years of age.
Volunteer Package: The $125 Volunteer Package includes the following (an over $600 value):
- One Presidents Cup logo'd shirt
- One Presidents Cup logo'd outerwear piece
- One Presidents Cup logo'd hat
- One Volunteer Credential (provides entry to the tournament every day Tuesday - Sunday, even when not volunteering)
- Volunteer Pin
- Lunch voucher on days when you volunteer (one voucher per shift)
- Volunteer Parking Pass
- One invitation to Volunteer Appreciation Party
- Two additional tickets for a Practice Round day of your choice (Tuesday or Wednesday)
There will be no refunds allowed after August 7th, 2017.

Committee Assignments: Please choose your committee preference(s) from the committee descriptions found on this website. Though we cannot guarantee assignments, we will make every effort to accommodate your preference. Your volunteer application and payment must be received before any assignment can be made. Again, you will receive your committee assignment soon after you register.
Volunteer Center: The Volunteer Center will be located adjacent to the clubhouse, along the public walkway by the waterfront (same location as for The Barclays 2013).
Apparel: A required volunteer package consists of one golf shirt, one jacket and a baseball cap. It is your responsibility to provide your own khaki colored Dockers- style bottoms (pants/shorts for men and pants, capris or golf skorts for women). You must wear the Presidents Cup uniform regardless of weather conditions and your volunteer uniform should ONLY be worn on the days you are working.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The ladies' Nike shirt runs small - please order a size up.
Our apparel inventory is limited. If there are extra shirts leftover after all volunteers have received uniforms, the shirts will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday, September 26.
Volunteer Badge: Your volunteer badge will admit you to the tournament, Tuesday through Sunday.
Parking Pass: You will receive one Volunteer Lot Parking Pass as part of your package. The Volunteer Lot will be located in Liberty State Park, just a short five-minute shuttle ride to the Volunteer Center.
Additional tickets: Each volunteer will receive two additional Practice Round tickets on the day of their choice (Tuesday or Wednesday). Volunteers also have the ability to purchase up to four tickets at a discount of 10% off.
Meal Vouchers: Every volunteer will receive one meal voucher per working shift. Complimentary breakfast (coffee, donuts) will be available in the Volunteer Center.
Requirements: Volunteers must be 18 years of age to participate and are required to work a minimum of three (3) shifts at four (4) - six (6) hours each. (There are shifts available on certain committees prior to tournament week. Please check the "Volunteer Committees" page to see when each committee is operational). Every committee will have a mandatory training session prior to tournament week.
